A very close game that went to 2nd last over in match reduced to 12 overs per side.
Batting 1st North Kildare got 74, a challenging total on a damp outfield after so much rain.
Our 5 bowlers - Captain Olivia Pacitto, Aisling O'Kelly, Anna Delany, Rachel Byrne and Ava McCormack, backed up by good fielding, did a good job.
A good opening partnership kept LCC up with the scoring rate, Rachel Byrne batted through the innings with great support from Ava McCormack, Isabel McGrath and Ava Deacon.
